MedStar Georgetown University Hospital needed to promote their new Proton Therapy treatment through social media. We were originally presented with large static infographics that were designed for print marketing. Using the existing infographic elements, I proposed developing simple digital animations that highlighted key facts about the new therapy.
The combined posts have gathered 90,000 views and continue to promote the hospital’s reputation as a leader in advanced cancer treatment.
One of MedStar Georgetown University Hospital’s (MGUH) more important training materials is the New Manager Orientation (“NMO”) manual. The manual is updated bi-annually and used to help train incoming managers for their new role. I worked on updating the training manual as well as editing the layout design.
MedStar Georgetown University Hospital needed an updated training material for its employees/associates. We designed and produced a new New Employee Orientation manual (or “NEO”). This particular manual differed from “NMO” in its production, as it allowed for more creativity with the overall design of content. Working together with a Creative Director, we developed a bound manual that had a more streamlined design and followed MedStar’s brand guidelines.
MedStar Montgomery Medical Center’s print newsletter titled Focused on You reaches 500,000+ consumers quarterly via direct mail. I worked on the design of each issue alongside a project manager, photographer, and a number of writers.
During my time working on the newsletter, I helped to update the overall design template, with the goal of bringing a more modern aesthetic to each issue.
In addition to creating larger manuals and guides for MedStar, I also worked on other various print projects. MedStar often came to Tessellati with requests for new posters, flyers, and signage needs. I often designed these print materials—utilizing the approriate photography and adhering to their brand guidelines.
