Cottrell Brewing Co. was a craft microbrewery located in Pawcatuck, Connecticut. Established in 1997, Cottrell offers a lineup of American, European, barrel-aged and cask ales.
During my time as Design Intern at the brewery, I was fortunate enough to work on a wide collection of projects such as developing marketing materials, points of sale, and updates to their brand.
Cask & Barrel Series
Cottrell Brewing Co. was looking for a series of packaging design for their upcoming cask and barrel aged ales. The microbrewery wanted to maintain the look and feel of its flagship beers and also develop a simple identity for each of its limited releases.
I worked on the design of 4 new cask & barrel aged brews. I collaborated with the marketing director to promote the new series and further develop its new identity.

Additional Marketing Materials
I design a number of print materials. The team at Cottrell required new “sellsheets”, postcards, and signage that detailed each of their major beers. New weekly nano-brews, in-house events, and various beer festivals around New England all required different kinds of small print collateral to help with the overall experience and organization.
